We are on Yeatman Road, N6 4DT.
Our lovely site is very popular and full so unfortunately there is a long Waiting List for plots. Currently it takes a minimum of two years to obtain a plot but it may take longer.
If you wish to apply for a plot, download, print off and complete the Waiting List Application Form. Please ensure all parts of the form are completed including a hand signature & the full correct date - incomplete forms cannot be accepted. Scan the signed form and email it to email@example.com. If you do not have scanning facilities, e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will give you a postal address you can send the hardcopy form to: if you do post it we suggest you keep a copy of the form for your records.
Within three weeks of receipt of the completed form Highgate Allotments Association will send you an acknowledgement and confirmation that your name is on the Waiting List. Existing applicants may check here where they are in the WAITING LIST. If you do not receive this confirmation then your application may not have been received. Please check your junk mail for possible communications from us.
Be sure to update us with any contact changes so that we can get in touch when a plot does become available.
All plot holders at the Highgate Allotments site are automatically members of the Highgate Allotments Association (HAA). The site is owned by Haringey Council, to which we pay our rents. There are over 170 allotment plots, varying in size between 3 and 10 poles (75 and 250 square metres), on renewable one year leases. Members elect a Committee annually to manage the site in co-operation with Haringey Council allotment officers. You can find more details of how the Association is constituted in our Terms of Reference. The Committee are all volunteer tenants who give up their time to ensure the waiting list, lettings and general maintenance of the site are run fairly and efficiently. They also organise running of our Shed Shop, compost and chippings deliveries and occasional social events throughout the year. You can read the minutes of Committee meetings and past copies of the newsletter on the documents page of this site.
You can contact the Committee at email@example.com.
